Since we had again a burglary last year it might be useful to install an alarm system.

Challenges:

• Power, it is easy to switch off main power for the building (main switch located outside), so I guess we need to protect the power switch better or install battery (or both)
• – maybe give a warning if power is cut off (might be false triggering with storms
• network connection only via GPRS. (maybe still possible via phone line?)

Possibilities:

• rlc-411ws which only sends photos or pictures when it detects an intruder, and has internal storage
• only till -10° C
